Hackers...Response #2

When i googled the simple question “What does Hacker mean,” I got two definitions for the word. The first definition being an enthusiastic and skillful computer programer or user. The second being a person who uses computers to gain unauthorized access to data. I take this as being that hackers can either be using their skills for the good to be helpful, or bad things such as stealing important information from people.
Hackers can break into computers to steal peoples information like credit card numbers, secret documents, email accounts, and other very personal things that you would think are to be safe over the web. This causing the victim of this crime known as ”hacking” much stress and headache.
It can be from having to change all of your passwords and security information, to as far as having your credit absolutely destroyed through financial problems from the theft. Hackers also can steal music and movies off of the internet. Which is very common, people are always looking to be able to download moves and music for free.
But none the less, there are hackers in the world who use their genius talents to benefit and help others out. Hackers are very intelligent people when it comes to computers, and hacking is not the easiest task. It all depends on the person and their morals as to how they will use these skills. What more advantage do you have to stop someone from doing mischievous criminal acts than to know exactly how to go about it, someone who could potentially do the same exact thing. These “good hackers” can basically get inside the heads of the bad hackers and stop them before things get to bad.
Hacking can be used in security measures for big companies and some times even aid in government assistance. Hackers can be used to test the strength of the security of certain government sites and information that may have to be delivered over the internet. The same situation with big companies, banks and such things like that.

ALL ABOUT ME....Response #1

1) Where do I come from?
I am from a pretty small town in Kentucky, called Winchester, it s only about 30 minutes from Lexington so im pretty close to home to say the least. Which I love because I can go home and see my family as much as I chose to. In my hometown everyone knows everyone, there is one high school in Winchester its called George Rogers Clark. For the most part the people I grew up with I have remained close to still to this day. I love that about my small hometown. Although at times it was annoying and crazy with the whole town knowing every little thing about everyone, I wouldn't want to call anywhere else home. I moved to Lexington a little over 2 years ago, and I also love every second of it. One day I hope to be able to travel around the US.

2) What is my writing experience?
My writing experience is not very extensive at all and to be completely honest I am actually not confident in my writing at all. I have had English classes my whole life but none of them have ever really challenged my ability at all or required much of me to pass them. So for that reason I have just blown through the classes not getting much of anything at all from them. I am hoping that this class can help me with my skills, and of course my confidence in my writing ability.

3) Something important in defining my beliefs?
I was raised in a Christian home, with both my mom and dad who are both Christians. I grew up going to church every Sunday and Wednesday night and I loved it. I am a firm believer in God. Although I dont attend church on a regular basis anymore now that I live on my own, my beliefs have not changed one bit. I find religion and other peoples beliefs very interesting and love hearing about what others believe and why they do so. Which makes me very open to other peoples thoughts and perspectives.

4) Why am I in college?
I am in college for many reasons, one being that it is what my parents require and of course I will do anything in the world to make them proud. I am also a very driven person though and would one day like to be an RN or a PA at a children's hospital. I love children, and love helping people so my fields of study seem to fit me very well. I am also minoring in Psychology. Science and anatomy have also always been my strengths in school the things that I am interested in, more so than Math or English for sure.
